Inspired by natural forms and phenomena and our human relationship with the environment, my artwork is based on an intuitive response in colour and composition. Using a variety of paint and techniques I emulate organic pattern, often with abstract elements,
with the aim to capture moments of connection with the British countryside in a contemporary way. Through my residency at The Pound Arts Centre in Corsham, I am investigating the links between environment, creativity and wellbeing.
I studied Art and Aesthetics (fine art, with philosophy and history of art) at Howard Gardens, UWIC, and gained my BA Hons Degree in 2003.
I have experience running a wide range of creative workshops for all ages, specializing in working with older adults.
